Clearlake closing on £5bn buyout of Boehly and Walter's Chelsea stakes
Clearlake Capital is closing on a deal to buy out Todd Boehly and Mark Walter's Chelsea stakes at a valuation of around £5 billion, The Guardian reported 11 Sept. The sale is not yet completed. Clearlake already holds majority control, so a deal would unify ownership. I doubt minority blocks find that price without an insider buyer.
