
Israel and Morocco Agree to Open Embassies, Exchange Ambassadors
Israel and Morocco agreed to elevate diplomatic missions to embassies and appoint ambassadors in both countries. Foreign ministers Gideon Saar and Nasser Bourita reached the understanding in New York, announced Sept. 16 in a joint statement issued by the U.S. Mission to the U.N. Implementation will hinge on accreditation, staffing and premises.
