ICE detains exiled Nicaraguan journalist Luis Galeano in Florida

ICE agents detained Nicaraguan journalist Luis Galeano in Orlando on Sept. 14 while he was driving for Lyft, his wife said. As of Sept. 16, he was held at Miami's Krome detention center, with an immigration court hearing set for Oct. 2, she said. Galeano fled Nicaragua in 2018 and had an asylum case pending for about seven years.
