Ladbrokes owner Entain consults on cutting 400 UK customer-care jobs

Entain, owner of Ladbrokes and Coral, announced 16 September it had started consultation on removing 400 of its 2,000 UK-based customer-care roles. The company attributed the planned one-in-five reduction to addressing increased gambling taxes. The London-headquartered group employs more than 28,000 worldwide.
