U.S. Charges Five Alleged Russian Agents in Murder-for-Hire Plot

Federal prosecutors announced September 15 charges against five alleged members of a Russian intelligence network, still at large, for conspiring to finance terrorism and commit murder-for-hire in the U.S. The Manhattan indictment alleges plots for targeted killings in the U.S. and European nations supporting Ukraine. The FBI says it disrupted the plans.
