Britain in talks to join Canada-led defence bank

Britain is in talks to join the Canadian-led Defence, Security and Resilience Bank, which offers long-term, low-cost financing for member defence projects. The bank includes Canada plus eight members, including Ukraine and Turkey. Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne is to discuss membership with Chancellor John Healey in London. Germany is also in talks.
