Phillips given care of children weeks after 18-day abduction

Tom Phillips was given court-ordered care of his three children in October 2021, weeks after taking them for 18 days in September 2021, according to the inquiry. He disappeared with them from Marokopa, Waikato in December 2021 and remained on the run for nearly four years. Police later shot him dead.
