Valve says memory costs pushed Steam Frame above $1,059 target

Valve intended to price its wireless Steam Frame below $1,059, developer Jeremy Selan said Sept. 14. Global RAM and storage pricing made that unreachable, despite efforts that Selan said "fought hard to get it even to this price." Valve had aimed to undercut the $999 tethered Index.
