Reuters poll: Most economists expect Fed to hold rates at 3.50%-3.75%

In a Sept. 4-9 Reuters poll, 65 of 93 economists expected the Federal Reserve to keep the federal funds rate at 3.50%-3.75%, after holding steady all year through Sept. 11. For savers and borrowers, a hold means deposit and loan rates likely stay put, with no relief or added pressure yet.
