71-year-old motorcyclist dies after reported pothole crash on Western Highway

A 71-year-old Ballarat man died at the scene on the Western Highway near Trawalla Road, west of Ballarat, shortly before 1pm on Sunday. Police were called after reports his motorcycle struck a pothole and he lost control. Police say circumstances are yet to be determined and are investigating.
