Second blast in a month hits Bulgarian arms depot supplying Ukraine

An overnight fire on September 12 triggered explosions at an EMCO ammunition warehouse near Gorni Varpishta, central Bulgaria, with no injuries. It was the second such incident in about a month. EMCO arms reach Ukraine, and owner Emilian Gebrev was allegedly targeted by Russian agents, including a 2015 poisoning prosecutors blame on three Russians.
