Guardian analysis published Sept. 12 found at least 28 anti-migrant vigilante groups formed in the UK in the last 18 months, with numbers surging since summer 2025. Researchers dated 31 active groups. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood urged police to use full powers against them.
