European Powers Join Ukraine Peace Talks as Zelenskyy Pushes Trilateral Format

British, French, and German national security advisers joined the 6 September Kyiv talks between US envoys Kushner and Witkoff and Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy announced plans for trilateral US-Ukraine-Europe meetings, which Witkoff said could be announced "in short order." The shift opens the door to embedding European security guarantees within the negotiation itself, not as an afterthought to a US-brokered deal.
