Pollen Robotics, under Hugging Face, opened preorders August 27 for the Microduck: a 25-cm bipedal robot with LiDAR, 15 motors, a grasping beak, and RL-trained locomotion. Priced at $399, it runs open-source software on a Rockchip RK3566. Shipping is planned before Christmas 2026. Each unit generates a unique, lifelong audio identity on first wake-up.
