Travelodge Hires Independent Reviewer Over Repeated Room Key Breaches

Travelodge has commissioned barrister Paul Greaney KC to review its room access policies after staff repeatedly gave keys to unauthorised people across multiple sites since 2022. In one case, a domestic abuser claimed his girlfriend was having a seizure; in another, a man posed as a guest's boyfriend and sexually assaulted her. MPs have previously pressed the chain on women's safety.
