Arron Banks allegedly hired private investigators through his former firm, Precision Risk and Intelligence, to surveil Sunday Times reporter Gabriel Pogrund, who covered Reform UK and Nigel Farage's financial backers. Asked if he paid investigators, Banks replied: "When you live by the sword, you die by the sword." The Sunday Times called the surveillance "reprehensible" and denied using hacked information.
