Senate Passes 86-11 Russia Sanctions Bill, Sends It to House

The Senate voted 86-11 on August 7, 2026, to pass the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act. The bill would set tariffs up to 100% on imports from the top five buyers of Russian oil and gas, including China and India, and sanction Russian leaders. It now goes to the House.
