Arctic Wolf reported August 5, 2026, that LightSpy — spyware tied to Chinese state-backed hackers since 2018 — now operates as a subscription service with branding, billing, and demos for government, enterprise, and military buyers. The modular platform hits phones, Apple devices, Linux servers, Windows PCs, and routers across 13 countries, including the US. Attribution followed an operator's KFC order placed via the admin panel under his real name.
