Apple Patches Screen Sharing Authentication Bypass Across Three macOS Versions

Apple shipped macOS Tahoe 26.6.1, Sequoia 15.7.9, and Sonoma 14.8.9 on 6 August 2026, fixing a Screen Sharing flaw that let nearby attackers log in without valid credentials. The updates skipped beta testing, landing ten days after a 210-CVE July patch cycle. Fleets with Screen Sharing on shared networks should patch immediately.
