Apple Patches Screen Sharing Authentication Bypass Across Three macOS Generations

Apple released macOS Tahoe 26.6.1, Sequoia 15.7.9, and Sonoma 14.8.9 on 6 August 2026, patching a Screen Sharing flaw allowing network-adjacent attackers to authenticate without valid credentials. The updates bypassed Apple's beta pipeline, arriving ten days after a 210-CVE July cycle. In this author's view, fleets with Screen Sharing enabled on shared segments should patch immediately.
