UNICEF: One Child Per Day Killed in Gaza Since October Ceasefire

UNICEF, the UN's children's agency, reported August 6, 2026, that at least 300 children have died in Gaza since a ceasefire — a pause in fighting — was announced October 10, 2025. The toll grew from 100 in January to 300 in August.
