Persimmon raises 2026 target to 12,500 homes, citing alignment with PM Burnham's housing push
Persimmon lifted its 2026 target to about 12,500 home completions — the top of prior guidance — and said it is "well-placed" to benefit from Prime Minister Andy Burnham's housing agenda. Half-year pre-tax profit rose 15% to £168m. The builder flagged 2027 inflationary pressure from Middle East conflict and launched cost-saving measures across procurement, design, and operations.
