Senate Panel to Vote on Contempt Resolution for Fauci

The Senate Homeland Security Committee will vote August 6 on a contempt-of-Congress resolution against Dr. Anthony Fauci. Chairman Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., issued it after Fauci cited the Fifth Amendment and declined to answer more than 100 questions about COVID-19 at a July 29 hearing. If approved, the Justice Department would decide whether to prosecute.
