Senate Committee Votes on Contempt Resolution Against Fauci

The Senate Homeland Security Committee is scheduled to vote August 6 on a contempt-of-Congress resolution against Dr. Anthony Fauci. Chairman Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., issued the resolution after Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment and declined to answer more than 100 questions about the COVID-19 pandemic at a July 29 hearing. If approved, the Justice Department would decide whether to prosecute.
