Badenoch defended ex-neo-Nazi candidate and offered advisory role

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch defended selecting Joshua Bonehill-Paine as a Somerset council candidate, saying he had been rehabilitated and the party believes in second chances. The BBC reported she also offered him an advisory role on its Culture and Integration Commission, examining how young men become radicalised. Bonehill-Paine has since withdrawn as a candidate.
