Badenoch defended ex-neo-Nazi candidate and offered him party advisory role

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch defended the selection of Joshua Bonehill-Paine as a Somerset council candidate, saying he had been rehabilitated and the party believes in second chances. The BBC reported that Badenoch also offered him an advisory role on the party's Culture and Integration Commission, focusing on how young men become radicalised. Bonehill-Paine has since withdrawn as a candidate.
