Green leader warns extreme heat is UK's gravest threat since 1945

Green Party leader Zack Polanski told a central London audience that extreme heat is "the biggest threat to this country since the Second World War." He said Labour had failed in its duty and urged Prime Minister Andy Burnham to call a Cobra emergency meeting on wildfires and drought, fund household heatproofing grants and update the UK's wildfire strategy.
