Choice's 2026 lab test of 48 laundry detergents found Aldi's Trimat Advanced Powder Concentrate tied with two Omo powders for first place in front loader performance, scoring 82% on stain removal. The Aldi product costs 44 cents per wash versus Omo Ultimate's $1.16. Trimat also topped top loader testing at 66%. Choice measured stain removal using a spectrophotometer, an instrument that quantifies color intensity on fabric.
