Aldi Detergent Ties Omo for Top Spot at a Quarter of the Price

Choice's 2026 lab test of 48 laundry detergents found Aldi's Trimat Advanced Laundry Powder Concentrate tied with two Omo powders for first place in front loader performance at 82%. The Aldi product costs 44 cents per wash; Omo Ultimate Powder costs $1.16. Aldi Trimat also led top loader testing at 66%. Choice measured stain removal using a spectrophotometer on fabric swatches.
