Wispr Flow's upcoming Mac notetaker transcribes meetings by capturing system audio locally, skipping the visible-bot model used by Otter and Fireflies.ai. Updated terms (July 25) and a customer email (August 5) confirm it cleans up transcripts, generates action items, and enables cross-meeting AI queries. It has not yet launched.
