Signal Now Supports Linking a Second Phone to Your Account

Signal now lets users link a second Android or iPhone to their account, a first for the encrypted messaging app. Previously only desktops and iPads could sync. The update shipped in Signal 8.20 (Android) and 8.22 (iOS). Up to five secondary devices can connect simultaneously; syncing message history to each device is opt-in, limiting exposure on shared or compromised hardware.
