
Seymour breaks with Luxon over 'parent-child' business comments
Deputy Prime Minister David Seymour has publicly disagreed with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon's apology for his 'parent-child mentality' remarks about businesses. Seymour said on 2 August the description was valid in some cases, arguing some business owners 'always have their hand out to the government.' Luxon declined to speak for his deputy.
