IU Kelley Students Raise $7.8M Second Fund, Doubling Real Estate PE Platform to $12M

Indiana University's Kelley School raised $7.8 million for Fund II of Sample Gates Management, its student-run real estate private equity fund, bringing total assets across two funds to roughly $12 million. Fund I launched in January 2023 with $4.2 million, all invested in actual deals. SGM is reportedly the largest undergraduate-managed real estate PE fund by capital raised.
