IU Kelley Students Raise $7.8M Fund II, Nearly Doubling Real Estate PE Platform to $12M

Indiana University's Kelley School of Business raised $7.8 million for Fund II of Sample Gates Management, its student-managed real estate private equity vehicle, bringing cumulative assets across two funds to roughly $12 million. Fund I launched in January 2023 with $4.2 million — fully deployed in actual transactions. SGM is described as the largest undergraduate-managed RE PE fund by dollars raised.
