All three major console makers raise prices as memory costs surge

Microsoft raised Xbox Series X and S prices by $100–$150 in the US on August 1, with comparable EU and UK increases. Sony and Nintendo have announced their own recent console price hikes, citing a continuing RAM shortage. Microsoft says it expects memory and storage prices to double again.
