Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch all get more expensive as computer memory runs short

Microsoft raised Xbox Series X and S prices by $100–$150 in the US on August 1, with similar increases in Europe and the UK. Sony and Nintendo have each raised console prices recently, blaming a shortage of the memory chips that store short-term data. Microsoft expects memory and storage costs to double again.
