Total Solar Eclipse Over Europe Coincides With Perseid Peak

On August 12, 2026, a total solar eclipse crosses Greenland, Iceland, and northern Spain — the first to reach mainland Europe since 1999. The date also marks the Perseid meteor shower's peak.
