Georgia father gets 15 years for son's school shooting gun
Colin Gray, 55, was sentenced to 15 years after a Barrow County jury convicted him of second-degree murder and manslaughter for giving his teenage son the firearm used in the 2024 Apalachee High School shooting that killed four. Gray faced up to 80 years; his son Colt, 16, got life without parole. The case extends murder liability to a parent who supplied the weapon — a precedent other states may study.
