Eni and Google sign on as anchor customers for CFS's Arc fusion plant ahead of breakeven milestone

Commonwealth Fusion Systems has signed Eni and Google as anchor customers for its planned Arc commercial fusion plant in Virginia. Eni committed to over $1 billion in electricity purchases; Google committed to 200 megawatts, half of Arc's planned output. Both deals close before CFS's Sparc demonstration reactor reaches scientific breakeven — producing more energy than it consumes — expected in 2027.
