V&A Staff Vote to Strike as Storehouse Competes for Museum of the Year

Prospect union members voted 100% for strikes at V&A Storehouse and 83% across all V&A London sites, over pay, breaks, and living wage accreditation. PCS members are separately balloting — a formal vote on whether to strike — over pay and conditions. Both unions may now stage overlapping strikes across the V&A estate, even as Storehouse is shortlisted for Art Fund Museum of the Year 2026.
