Warmer UK Winters May Anchor a Migratory Moth

The hummingbird hawk-moth, a Mediterranean species that migrates to Britain but normally cannot survive its winters, may become a permanent resident. Ray Barnett of the British Entomological and Natural History Society told the Guardian that sustained milder winters from global warming could make this happen.
