
Google Lifts 2026 Capex to $205B, Outspending Its Revenue
Google raised its 2026 capital expenditure projection to as much as $205 billion in its July earnings report, up from a prior ceiling of $190 billion. The new floor, $195 billion, exceeds last quarter's top end. Google is now spending more than it earns. Analysts had already expected Alphabet and Amazon to burn cash through 2026.
