Berlin Pride Suspect Pledged Loyalty to ISIS, German Prosecutors Say

German prosecutors found a video on a phone inside the van used in the July 25 Berlin Pride attack showing suspect Abdul Ballout pledging allegiance to ISIL. The assault killed a 65-year-old Polish woman and injured 31. Interior Minister Dobrindt said authorities assume the person in the video is the suspect — the first official sign of an ideological motive.
