Ryan Gosling to Star in MCU's First Supernatural Standalone Film, Ghost Rider

Marvel confirmed at its 2026 San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel that Ryan Gosling will play Johnny Blaze in a standalone Ghost Rider film, directed by Shawn Levy and targeting 2028. It is the first supernatural-horror property to receive a confirmed standalone film in the current MCU. The character previously appeared in earlier non-MCU iterations.
