Biden Won't Appeal, Paving Way for Release of Ghostwriter Tapes by Aug. 3

Former President Joe Biden will not appeal a court ruling allowing the Justice Department to release audio and transcripts of his talks with memoir ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer, NPR reported. Biden's lawyers filed a voluntary dismissal July 25. A court hold expires Aug. 3, 2026, clearing release of the materials.
