Biden Ends Legal Fight, Ghostwriter Tapes to Be Released by Aug. 3

Former President Joe Biden will not keep fighting in court to block the release of audio and written records of his talks with the writer who helped him with his memoir, NPR reported. Biden's lawyers dropped the case July 25. A court order delaying the release ends Aug. 3, 2026, allowing the Justice Department to publish the materials.
