Mass Evacuations as Wildfires Spread Across France and Spain

Over 250,000 people have fled wildfires sweeping southwestern France and central Spain. France called the crisis "totally unprecedented," with 30 fires burning nationwide and President Macron convening an emergency ministerial meeting. A military plane has been deployed. In Gironde, 42 firefighters have been injured.
