Wildfires Force a Quarter-Million People to Flee France and Spain

More than 250,000 people have left their homes as wildfires spread across southwestern France and central Spain. France called the crisis "totally unprecedented," with 30 fires burning nationwide. President Macron is holding an emergency government meeting, a military plane has been sent to help, and 42 firefighters have been injured in Gironde.
