Israel Launches Major West Bank Operation After Deadly Shooting

Israeli forces arrested nearly 50 Palestinians and raided about 70 homes in Tal, after Netanyahu and Defence Minister Katz ordered a "wide-scale military operation" on July 25, 2026. The operation follows a July 24 shooting near Havat Gilad settlement that killed four Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers. Raids also hit Jenin, Tubas, Jericho, and Qalqilya.
