Israel Sends Troops Across West Bank After Deadly Shooting

Israeli soldiers arrested nearly 50 Palestinians and searched about 70 homes in the town of Tal. Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defence Minister Katz ordered the large operation on July 25, 2026, after a shooting near an Israeli settlement killed four Palestinians and two soldiers the day before. Soldiers also raided the towns of Jenin, Tubas, Jericho, and Qalqilya.
